Work for Morley College:
- As an adult education college in an increasingly competitive sector, Morley needed to refine and focus its marketing approach - not only to increase its student recruitment, but also to raise its profile amongst key stakeholders, such as funding bodies. Working closely with stakeholders, we produced a comprehensive three year marketing strategy which included suggestions for widening income generating streams and a long term communications plan. This process involved research into current trends and indicative future trends, as well as data on the success of the College’s current offer and positioning, competitor research and interviews with key stakeholders.
- In order to improve the College’s ‘recognisability’ factor we produced clearly branded advertising and marketing materials to ensure brand consistency across the College, and successfully rolled it out.
- The College’s Course Guide is one of its primary marketing tools. We worked closely with both academic and support staff within the College to produce a series of award winning course guides (Heist Awards for best part time prospectus 2007). These guides not only provided comprehensive, easily accessible information about courses and services provided by the College, but also successfully reflected the individuality of the College, and the broad diversity of the student population.
- Copywriting, editing and proofreading for a range of documents for print and web, including articles for newsletters, editorial and press releases.
- Morley needed to improve internal communications, so we introduced a College-wide Intranet for all academic and support staff. We also wrote and produced staff and student newsletters.
